Homevest referral terms

This “Agreement” (these referral terms together with the documents referred to in it) sets out the terms which govern our referral program (“Referral Program”). Please read this Agreement carefully before you use our Referral Program. By using our Referral Program, you confirm that you accept this Agreement and that you agree to comply with it. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, you must not use our Referral Program.

Subject to your compliance with the terms of this Agreement, Homevest enables you to use for specified period of time non-monetary or monetary reward (hereinafter “Referral Fee”) if you meet the Referral Program requirements (as in force at that time) for your program. Learn about how the referral program works, including how many friends you need to invite, the amount of the Referral Fee you will be entitled to and the conditions attached to the Referral Program.

You may use the Referral Program by sharing a unique link, or by having each person you refer add the invitation within 30 days after signing up with Homevest using this link. For the avoidance of doubt, it shall not be possible to add the invitation after 30 days from signing up with Homevest.

Provided you meet the requirements (as in force at that time) more than once, you are entitled to a Referral Fee each time you meet such requirements.

You must be a registered user of Homevest to use the Referral Program.

Once the bank has confirmed to us that your invitee has signed the mortgage contract, we pay you €100 (or local currency equivalent) within 30 days.

Any bank transfer or conversion fees will be deducted from the amount you receive.

This promotion does not apply if the invitee gets a mortgage through some other means, and not through us.

To access the referral program, you (the “inviter”) need to register for an account with us an accept our terms and conditions, as well as our privacy policy.

For your friend (the “invitee”) to qualify as a referral, he or she needs to sign up using your referral link.

The inviter and invitee will also need to provide us with a bank account denominated in one of the following currencies: EUR, GBP, RON, CHF, HUF, SEK, NOK, DKK, USD.

You may only use our Referral Program in good faith for lawful purposes. You may not:

(a) create more than one account in order to invite yourself;

(b) invite others that have created duplicate accounts;

(c) use alternative contact information to refer yourself or others that have created duplicate accounts;

(d) invite an existing customer of Homevest;

(e) invite fictitious persons;

(f) do anything that damages Homevest’s brand, goodwill or reputation;

(g) use the Referral Program in: (i) any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation; or (ii) any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect; (iii) in any way that contravenes any other agreements we have with you, including our Terms of Service and Terms of Use;

(h) to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam); or

(i) to transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising either via paid search or any other similar activity, including channels that can damage the Homevest brand.

Homevest may require identification documents, or other information required for anti-money laundering purposes, from you prior to paying the Referral Fee.

Homevest shall not be in breach of this Agreement (nor have any obligation to pay you a Referral Fee) if you do not (at Homevest’s sole and absolute discretion) provide the identification documents or other documents required for anti-money laundering purposes, requested by Homevest.

In the case where our bank partner refuses to send funds to your bank account because of terrorist financing or money laundering concerns, we reserve the right to not pay your commission.

You represent and warrant to us that you have obtained the express consent from the individuals whose data you provide us with.

Homevest has the right to refuse to pay you the Referral Fee if (in its sole and absolute discretion) Homevest suspects that you have not used the Referral Program in good faith or have breached this Agreement.

We will determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Agreement. When a breach of this Agreement has occurred, Homevest may take such action as we deem appropriate, including (but not limited to) termination of this Agreement, closing your account(s), closing third party account(s) and suspending the Referral Program.

Homevest accepts no liability for any use of the Referral Program which does not comply with this Agreement.

We may revise this Agreement at any time by amending this page. Continued use of the Referral Program shall amount to acceptance of the Agreement in force at that time.

Homevest reserves the right to:

(a) amend, alter or change the Referral Program at any time, without notice; and

(b) terminate the Referral Program at any time, without notice. In the event the Referral Program is terminated, Homevest will not be obliged to credit any accounts that would have otherwise qualified for Referral Fee.

This Agreement and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Each party irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement or its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims).

The referral program promotion is available between 9 November 2022 and 31 December 2023.
